Beth Diefenbach

Beth Diefenbach has been serving as Ministry Assistant and Financial Assistant at Immanuel Baptist Church for over 11 years. She brings a wealth of experience to her role, having previously worked in Human Resources before taking time off to be a full-time mom. When she returned to the workforce, she served in the accounting department at Four Rivers Behavioral Health before finding her home at Immanuel.

What are you up to when you’re not at work?
My favorite way to spend time is with my family, especially my grandkids. Whether we’re on an adventure or just hanging out, they bring me so much joy. When I need to recharge, I grab a good book or hit the trail—I love hiking and being out in nature.

What is your favorite part about serving at Immanuel Baptist Church?
Hands down, the people. The staff, the congregation, the spirit of the church—I’ve always felt supported, appreciated, and part of something meaningful. Though I’m part of the staff, I don’t attend church at Immanuel - but that’s never made me feel like anything less than family. From the very beginning, the Immanuel community has embraced me with kindness and inclusion, which says a lot about the kind of place this is.

I also love that Immanuel is such an active church. There’s always something going on for all ages, which makes working here dynamic and fulfilling.
