Welcoming Children in the Spirit of Jesus

Children are unique and wonderful creations of our Heavenly Father. We treasure the opportunity to partner with parents as they help children write their faith stories. Immanuel seeks to nurture thinking minds as children study God's word and participate in worship. Through fellowship, hands-on missions, and intentional outreach in our community, Immanuel believes children develop compassionate hearts for all of God's people. By combining the efforts of family and the church community, children are given the tools that they need to welcome others in the Spirit of Jesus.

Children begin their journey in the nursery where they are assured that God loves them and we do too. Throughout their early learning years they concentrate on three basics truths:

  • God Loves Me

  • God Made Me

  • Jesus wants to be my friend Forever.

Children then take these truths and learn to use them in their everyday life by:

  • building their knowledge of the scriptures

  • participating in missions

  • leading in worship

  • and experiencing God's love through community.

At Immanuel, music is an important part of this journey of faith. Children learn to worship and lead in worship through worship education.

We would love to embark on this journey with you and your family!
